Ah, health. 🙂 Feels good to be mostly back…I get the feeling I’m 98% over the cold; just got some congestion left and needing to blow my nose every 20 minutes. Can’t deny I missed this. 🙂

Jesus, was yesterday stupid for me. :/
Told you all that I was looking to cut Bank Of America loose. Figured I’d give them a chance to plead for me to keep my business there and see if they’d offer me anything of interest for doing so…maybe, relaxing the restrictions on my account, take away the service fee for just COMING IN AND TALKING TO A TELLER (ridiculous shit)…but no. Matter of fact, they had no time for me. 🙂 Seriously…I told the guy at the door that I wanted to cancel my account and he just said, well, it’s about an hour wait (and it was…there were people ahead of me) and you can have a seat and do so, or you can just call Customer Service and they’ll do it for you. Mind you, I never felt like he was trying to show my worthless ass to the door or anything rude, but normally when someone says “I’m quitting you” to a business, there’s effort made to try to keep you there…BOA didn’t give two rat craps about my leaving, even when I called Customer Service.
I wasn’t trying to get any special treatment or anything…I was leaving no matter WHAT they tried to give me…but it just seemed weird as fuck that they made literally zero effort to keep my business…not a very business-like thing to do, in my opinion. It just felt odd…I was expecting a fight from them and got, “Seeya later!” I wish it were more like this when I wanted to quit stuff…heck, I delete a program off my computer these days and my Firefox fires up with an online page from them saying, sorry to see you leave, here’s an offer to keep you around, and if you don’t want to, what’s your reason for leaving, give us some feedback? Just weird.
Well, after that, I went looking for patches for the knees of my jeans. Went to a fabric store I knew of only to see “All Sales Final” signs posted everywhere and wandered in…only to find that the closing sale was in fact over and people were doing the final closing of the store. They were puzzled that I walked in…even tho the door was fully open and signage announcing a sale were still up. Eh, whatever…I apologized and left.
Found the pants patches I wanted…in a GROCERY store. Like I said, STUPID day for me. 😛

Well, I’m off…to close a bank account. Bet’cha money they try to throw incentives at me to stick around. 🙂 But, it’s time I put this ghetto account with this ghetto bank in the ground in favor of my new account. I can’t believe the lengths banks go to sometimes…this bank I’m going to? They want me to help them pay their staff.
No, I’m serious…if I go INTO the bank and talk to a teller? $8.99 service charge. Their tellers are so awesome (or the bank THINKS they’re so awesome) that you have to PAY to talk with them. I’m SO done with that…..

Thanks for all the well-wishes, gang. I’m struggling through the cold as best I can…medicating and drinking hot tea and such. Still feel like crap and I don’t even have the strength to pick up a video game controller. Can you imagine that? Even my gaming controller looks heavy to me right now I’m so weak from this. :/ Sooooo…I’m just sitting back and convalescing while letting the virus run it’s course. Boring, really. 😛 The good news is I think I’m on the road back…the congestion in my chest is breaking up as I’m blowing my nose constantly; the coughing and sneezing have reduced by at least half if not more. It’s just funny how the body can’t process temperature when you’re sick…cold sweats and all. Weird.
