Ugh…yesterday was awful. Not exactly a computer crash, but close…fixable, tho. 🙂 But if there’s one thing I despise, it’s corporate America….
Now THAT was a jump in conversation, huh? 😛
Went to Best Buy for a part I needed and, of all the wonderful things on their shelf (no sarcasm there, they were all wonderful things…I’m a tech junkie :P) the only thing up there that wasn’t priced was the one thing I needed. :/ No lie…every item on the shelf had a tag next to it except for the item I needed. So, I wanted to know how much I was paying for this glorious piece of tech, so I went to the computer counter…and there was only ONE person at it, who was embroiled in a big sale.
Here’s the part where I hate on corporate. See, I’ve worked in a corporate job before; bastards have only one thing in mind…profit. Sooooooo, they purposely under-man the store for the sake of making more money; that’s the way the corporate mind works. And, if you be the bitchy customer and complain, corporate lops heads or gives an employee a write-up fast, so I’m not gonna bitch about it. Instead, I wound up waiting a good ten minutes for a question that got eventually answered in two seconds when someone from another department noticed my annoyance (I started tweeting about it; apparently, you get noticed when you tweet :P) and crossed over long enough to do a price check.
They TELL you (or, BB’s Twitter account, anyway) they want the input to better customer service, but it’d be at the cost of someone’s paycheck or putting them one bad mark closer to unemployment, and I’m not gonna do that over a stupid price check. :/ So, instead I vent here. To you all. Thanks for being here, guys. 🙂
