  1. Geez, Tony! That is apathetic of BoA! Makes me wonder, between them charging to interact with a human teller and their “Don’t let the doorknob hit you on the ass when you leave!” attitude about your closing your account, if their current business model isn’t aimed more for corporate clients than consumer banking…. I wonder how long it is before our main bank starts doing the same?

Sorry I haven’t commented much – like you, i’ve been sick, and it keeps hanging on.

    • I hadn’t thought of the “we’re a corporate bank, not a consumer one” angle…that may well be happening! It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if that were the case. To the cold? UGH, mine still is hanging on, but at least I can function now. Only thing is, if I go out into society and “function” for too long, I wind up napping all day after to recover. I’ve never been this lethargic during a cold…I have no energy left at all. 🙁

      • Tony, know the feeling! I’m traveling again starting tomorrow – and I am NOT looking forward to the drive, let me tell you! I am – better, but that’s not like saying I’m well by any means….

This is one nasty bug, let me tell you.

See my comments to Art about credit unions…..

  2. Greetings from Texas,
I resist thinking of myself as old, but I prefer dealing with something breathing rather than a computer when doing business. The business world has less patients with folks like me every day.
To hell with them, I’m not going away. My business will go to folks that will work with me on my terms. I hope to do business with you again in the near soon.

    • Art, that’s one reason my wife has switched our smaller personal accounts over to the local credit union – though it can be tough to get money out of them when you’re traveling! At least there, you’re usually dealing with people….
