  1. Greetings from Texas,
I don’t know if I’ll be able to see the new Star Trek, but I learned a lesson from The Next Generation. Don’t form an opinion until watching the fifth episode. Give the characters time to develop a chemistry with each other.
I can not close without paying my respects to the lovely Drea. I find it heart breaking that she is no longer working as a fetish model, but I’m grateful you have such excellent photos for us to remember.

  2. Tony, I had a friend who refused to watch STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES because to him, The ENTERPRISE looked like “a frog had swallowed a pie plate”! So I guess maybe it’s less how The DISCOVERY looks than how the show itself is…?

Love the pics of Drea in pantyhose bound and cleavegagged, as Art does.

    • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Tolstoy gets philosophical. 😛

Seriously, tho, for me, the look of the ship is 50% of how much I’m gonna love/hate the show; it’s important to me. I’m not saying the show ITSELF is garbage (or at least I hope I didn’t…when I answer comments, I can’t see the original post; the blog isn’t set up like that), but this isn’t exactly helping the case. :/ Ugly is beautiful in some cases…one of our main airplanes out here in AZ is the A-10 Warthog, which is a tank-killing beast, but not the most attractive plane out there.

It’s been speculated that this ship really IS a marriage of Federation/Klingon designs as a part of the story…it’s just fugly to me. :/ Yes, I’ll give the show and ship a shot…for exactly as long as it doesn’t cost me money to do so. Remember…this show is gonna move to a pay-per-view status after it’s debut on broadcast TV…I’m not gonna pay to watch an ugly ship just for a good story. I’d do that on broadcast TV, but if I’m essentially going to a movie every week with this show, I have to be at least able to stand the aesthetics.

Wait, I thought it was the other way around, Tony. They were putting it on CBS All Access first (or as I like to call it, “$7.99/mo and All the Malware You Can Eat – thanks to The Old Folks’ Network trying to grab the K-I-D-Z!”), then would license it to network or syndication. Since I tried CBS All Access for a time and got hit with so many malware attacks I got a security suite for my Mac, I got rid of it and refuse to go back.

        • From what I heard, the pilot is on broadcast tv and the series will be on pay per view.. Makes sense…let everyone see the start to draw in as many viewers as possible.
