Man, the beginning of Friday had “fail” written all over it!  And definitely had the most “stoopid” activity in between!  When I arrived on Wednesday, I thought I’d be able to register…turned out that Friday was the first official day of registration (if I remember right).  I was also in a bit of panic…Rob’s talks were to start at 10:30 am and I’d prolly need to register before being able to get in with a FetCon badge…would I be able to make it???  Turns out that you had to register to just get into the area where the talks were being held in the first place (lol), so it wasn’t a problem at all.  🙂  I wanted to get extra program guides for friends, but alas, none were there to be given as yet.  🙁 (I missed my chance to score an extra one as I was working with Drea Morgan the entire time the con was open on Sunday…but that’s a story for later…)

Went in and found Rob ready to go.  🙂  Was joined by the LOVELY Candle Boxxx, Serene Isley, and Dave Gibson, and then heard a voice next to me and turned to meet my custom client!  🙂  He had hired me to do a shoot with Kobe Lee for him, so it was great to meet him!  🙂  We settled in and listened as Rob gave a very well put together and thought out talk about the adult industry and the challenges that we as performers and producers face by being in it.  FASCINATING talk…and I was SO glad he let me record it for posterity.  LOT of information within and I wanted to be able to study it with not just my notes.  After this talk, we had a small break, then came back for the second part.  The first part was about the legal statutes dealing with 2257 and record keeping…this talk was about obscenity, and just as fascinating as the last!  I just wish I had held my hands stiller…parts of the vid looked like we were on a cruise ship!  🙂

After this talk broke up, a BUNCH of us industry people…namely, myself, Rob, Jerry and Paige, Sgt. Major, our new buddy Mat from Canada, Dave Gibson and a bunch of others who I’m gonna get killed for not mentioning (lol) did what will be the 1st annual FetCon brunch and walked down to a nearby restaurant to have a GREAT meal together.  We were talking about making this an annual thing, and I’m all for it!

Later in the day, I took in my first pass of the trade show floor.  God, it was AWESOME!!  Walked right in and was at Candle Boxxx’s booth.  She looked STUNNING, and I so wished I’d been able to rope her up in that outfit for my site…lmao!  Next year, I guess.  While I was talking with her, my eyes caught a video that Kendra James was playing at her booth of herself as a bound and gagged maid…ROWR!!  Awesome looking clip…asked her if it was available for con purchase…alas, no.  🙁  Did some more walking around and found a knife vendor…thank the gods!  My custom client had asked for me to menace poor Kobe Lee with a knife or gun during our shoot, and I was reluctant to bring one myself from Tucson, so I bought a gorgeous batarang-looking dual knife.  AWESOME piece!  I also found something about myself…I think I have either a knife or weapon fetish.  😛  Found myself going back to his table on several occasions.

After a long trip around the convention floor looking at and purchasing several things, I wandered back to Candle’s booth just in time to see her getting tied and gagged by the one and only JBRoper (http://www.jbroper.com/).  This is a combo I’ve been wanting to happen for some time now (I’m a fan of both of them), and seeing it was massively exciting…especially when I was asked to help!  JB needed help holding Candle’s hair out of the way…I was only happy to help!  🙂  After Candle was fully tied into a hogtie and gagged, she struggled like that for a bit while JB and I chatted.  Then, some peril for our heroine…a Catwoman-suited Christina Carter, Kendra James, and Jewell Marceau saw all this happening from their respective booths and decided to have some fun…a Hitachi vibrator was plugged in and Candle flipped onto her bound arms as the three menaced her with it.  I wish I could’ve seen more…but the cord was just BARELY long enough to reach the situation from where it was plugged in…I wound up on my knees and keeping the plug in the power strip to prevent it from shutting off…lmao!  Fun, fun, FUN!!!

Just as this was wrapping up, I got some text messages saying that my e-mail account had been hacked and was sending spam.  OY!!  While I’m on vacation, yet!  NO FAIR!!!  😛 Pissed me right the fcuk off as it was getting close to the time Kobe Lee was going to give her annual talk about modeling as a career and I wanted to attend that!  Spent about a half hour chatting with AOL, convincing them I was me and the spammer was caught and changing out my e-mail password.  Apparently, this nasty asshole hit all of the people on my lists and my various Yahoo Groups…it was messy.  🙁  But thanks to the hotel’s visitor center with free online access, I was able to take care of it without much trouble.  🙂

Next up was Kobe Lee’s talk, with Rob pinch hitting for her, doing the power point part of the presentation. My custom client (who I’d be working with Kobe for an hour after the presentation finished) found me once again, and we sat together as Kobe gave her talk.   Again, a well-thought out, well put together presentation that covered all the pros and cons of being a professional model.  I have to say I was very impressed with her professionalism and the talk was very detailed and to the point.  She did a brilliant job hitting all the high and low points of modeling with good, sound and solid advice for the beginner to the seasoned professional alike…an awesome time!  Once again, I was doing recording duties and have captured the talk for all posterity.  🙂

Went back to my room and began prepping the lighting and looking over the script as I waited for both the client and Kobe to arrive.  Both arrived and we set to work.  🙂  The gent was very direct and almost cinematic in detail…the whole shoot had a definite theme and direction; I liked that!  The whole thing was to revolve around Kobe returning to her hotel room after a night out on the town…then she gets surprised by an intruder.  Bound, gagged and allowed to struggle like that for a bit…then stripped and re-dressed in sheer-to-the-waist pantyhose and heels, then re-bound and gagged, before being put in a suitcase for shipping out to parts unknown.  🙂  This was the shoot I bought the knife for…and I really should’ve thought of the fact she was wearing a black dress and I bought a BLACK knife…lmao!  Eh, as you can see, it all worked out…

All in all a WONDERFUL shoot and a GREAT experience!  I can’t WAIT to work with Kobe again…if only she’d travel more out Arizona way…..well, there’s always FetCon!  🙂  After the shoot, I went downstairs and had dinner with Jerry, Paige, Rob, Mat, my client…and model Savannah C stopped by as well.  You’re always meeting people and seeing familiar faces at FetishCon!!  🙂
