So, if you didn’t catch my response to DR, my computer is able to be revived. 🙂 Turned out to be a power supply like I thought it would be…and while I was having that done, I asked them for a better cooler as the comp’s fan was running a bit loud, and the thermal paste needed to be redone anyway…getting that whole package for around $170. Not bad in the whole school of things. 🙂 I’ll be happy to have her back again…possibly by the time this blog goes live. 🙂

Good to year your PC didn’t cost an arm and a leg to fix. Mine ended up costing close to $300 and I got less done with it, to boot.

Starfield? You mean “No Man’s Sky 2”????? 😛 I kid…of course we’re talking about Bethesda’s new release…I think the only sense in which I’m excited about Starfield is that now that it’s finished, they can concentrate on Fallout 5… I’ll eventually get it…once my self-imposed ban of 1 year passes…that “ban” meaning, I never buy video games on Day 1 anymore…I make it a point to wait a year after they’ve been out so that bugs can be squashed. I’m a video game PLAYER and a CUSTOMER to gaming companies…not a TESTER. If they’re gonna pull a Cyberpunk 2077 or Fallout 76 and release the game before it’s fully finished and let the general public test it by playing it and relay what’s going on, I’m not a part of that sample size…lol. I’ll wait until it’s ACTUALLY finished to buy it, thankyouverymuchly. 🙂 This said…I may just cross that line for the Resident Evil 4 Remake, tho…Capcom may be a crap company in many ways, but the Resident Evil Remakes have been golden out the door, so I’ll be a part of that hype. 😛

If you’re willing to wait a year the Bethesda “Game of the Year” edition with all the dlc content included is always a smart buy…
I did that with Fallout 3.
I played those games on Xbox 360 (feels like forever ago).
PC will always be master race (higher resolutiuon, fps, etc.) but the advantage of console is you never have to worry about whether the game is going to run or not… 🙂

SMART policy! I do most of my (PC game) shopping on GoG.com which is mostly o-o-o-l-l-d-d school. Not always, but mostly – have https://www.gog.com/game/the_house_of_the_dead_remake open in another tab. Don’t think I’m gonna plunk down $20 for it just yet (I LOVE Zombie games and I used to love lightgun shooters in the arcades….)

I’m still trying to play catch up with the Left4Dead PC game series (remember I’m strictly a PC Gamer, no XBox or Playstation for me…). But yeah the newest Resident Evil DOES look good – I’m just hoping they don’t f***up the PC port in favor of XBox/Playstation (but they probably will – *SIGH*)!
Whoooooooa horsie!! :P. I have the RE 2&3 remakes for PC, and as far as I know, they were brilliant. They’re respecting the content…which is why I’m optimistic about the RE4 remake. If they leave Mercenaries mode alone it’ll be golden…unlike Ubisoft’s abomination of a PC port back in ’05. That was disgusting.
Talk about weirdness…Resident Evil 4’s port to the PS4 lacks on-screen titles…something I really like as sometimes voice actors speak kinda muddily. While I agree with you that PC ports most of the time get screwed, it isn’t always the case. I’m sure with as big a project as this, with as many eyes on it as there will be, they’ll take care on all ports. 🙂
So Resident Evil 2&3 were decent PC ports – good to know (think I have a PS1 CD and a Bleem(?) emulator somewhere…). Hopefully you’re right – they’ll take the time to do RE4 right for XBox, Playstation AND PC gamers but we’ll see…(Stacie looks fantastic in her frogtie with her arms boxtied behind her back in nothing but pantyhose – but I don’t think Stacie ever did a bad photo/video shoot with you ever… https://staciesnowbound.com/
