Phishers just hit a new low…wow. 🙁 I got one of these e-mails:
I have friends in Florida, so getting this e-mail was saddening. Oh, not in the “OHMYGOD, who died?!” sense as the mail was thankfully in my SPAM box, but in the “How low can people go?” sense. I get saying “my bank account isn’t safe, click here to give me your id” scams…that’s one thing, but preying off your sense of love of your friends and family? HARSH. 🙁 I lose faith in humanity daily.

As for the phishing scams? Just when you think they can’t sink any lower – they do. Though occasionally you have to give them props for inventiveness – like the phish that supposedly came from “FBI DIRECTOR ROBERT MUELLER” and informed you that if you didn’t pay $10,000 at once, you would be arrested….
