Lazy day today…may work more on the Enterprise; she’s coming along nicely.  🙂  Got her about halfway done…I have the saucer pretty much done and detailed (tho I still have more decals to add to it) and have the neck attached…now I need to hit the nacells and secondary hull.  Y’know…then the Next Generation ship had the ability to separate at the saucer, many criticized it for not being cool…that was planned to happen from the start.  🙂  Even Kirk’s Enterprise back in the 60’s was supposed to have this…there’s some details under the saucer where landing struts were even hidden under, I believe.  The difference was the “D” was the only one that could do the separation and re-attach…the other ships needed a spacedock to achieve this.

And there’s your Star Trek “geek” for today.  😛  Google “TOS saucer separation” if you want to read more…kinda cool.  🙂

As for now?  How about some Angel?

Update this Plug-In, update that Plug-In, update another Plug-In…update, update, update, UPDATE!

Ballz.  🙁

Gawd…if there’s one thing I hate, it’s being told that something needs updating…especially on the computer.  9 times out of 10, that means the update needs to be your central focus and not what you were working/playing on and you’ll have to devote your computer’s full resources to said update.  :/  On top of that, there’s still the updates that require you to reboot your computer…just ballz.  🙁

That’s what I meant about Plug-Ins.  Started to type, and had to update two of the Plug-Ins I use for this blog…then once I did and got a screen saying that I’d done it successfully, I got another notation saying that I needed to update a Plug-In I’d just finished updating!  :/  Whatever.

Anyway, have a look at Lola Lynn.  This is my fave set of her…if she were my secretary, I’d never get any work done.  🙂

Sorry I’m late with this…Yahoo sucks ballz.  🙁

OY; Yahoo Groups changed their format on me seemingly overnight; the groups I moderate both for myself and for Candle Boxxx got hit with a format restyling that pleased no one.  🙁  It just sucks.  Anyway…I had to upload a new Group Pic…have a look!  🙂

This is an Editorial…no pics involved…just for the sake of us having a little chat.  It’s also meant as sarcasm and general fucking around as I truly know the answer to this question before I even ask it.  But I’ve been reading about this stuff and am wondering what you all might think of it. (Link to read more: Stallone Kickstarter)   Kickstarter is a way for people with legitimate, real and worthwhile projects to get funding for them; I get that.  But the way it’s being abused of late…what with Stallone (who’s worth $275 million) helping the producer of a film “e-beg” for $250,000 to fund his next film (why doesn’t Stallone just become an investor, then?) and Spike Lee e-begging to get a project funded (he, a multimillionaire himself, raised $1.25 million for his latest project) , and SMOSH! Gaming (who’re worth millions) starting a Kickstarter to get a video game financed so they don’t have to risk their own money doing it…it all just got me thinking…

Why not a Kickstarter for TucsonTied.com???

$250,000 to fund me for the coming years of shoots?  That’d be pretty sweet, really!  And it’s as noble a cause as a multimillionaire begging to get a film started when he could just fund it himself, no?  Yeah, I could just picture it…

  • Donate at the $10 level and I’ll do a blog post dedicated to you.
  • Donate at the $20 level and I’ll do the above perk and send you a cut-off piece of rope used on the model
  • Donate at the $50 level and I’ll send you the used pantyhose or stockings the model wore at the shoot.
  • Donate at the $100 level and I’ll do both the $10 and $20 perk and send you a printed out picture of the model one of my shoots
  • Donate at the $200 level and you get the above and the pic will even be signed.
  • Donate at the $500 level and you get to choose the model and positions for the shoot! (Congrats!  You just bought a custom!  :P)
  • Donate at the $1000 level and you get the above and a special, personalized short video from me and the model thanking you for your support.
  • Donate at the $10,000 level and, when you provide your own airfare, you can attend the shoot!!!
  • Donate the $100,000 level and we’ll do a 1 hour length bondage film you write and plot
  • Donate the whole $250,000…and you’ll get my eternal gratitude.  🙂

Oh, and it would, of course, be like SMOSH! Gaming’s Kickstarter…done up so that whether or not I reach the lofty goals of my project, I still get to keep any and all monies donated, naturally.  🙂

The above is sarcasm of the greatest kind and it’s not gonna happen.  I know my using Kickstarter for this would be an abuse of the system…tho, for all intents and purposes, it’s for people struggling to fund projects, and, like all of us producers of this stuff nowadays, I AM struggling a bit…  They prolly have rules in place to keep my industry from using Kickstarter for funding my kinda work.  It’s frustrating for me, tho, to see rich people exploiting the system for the sake of making themselves richer or getting free projects.  Yes, $250,000 will not completely fund the movie Stallone’s backing, and this Kickstarter is to replace the monies left by a retreating backer, I know…but the point is, he HAS the money himself.  The stars of the movie have the money themselves.  If they believe in this project THAT MUCH, why not work for scale or become funders of the project themselves?  They HAVE THE MONEY…by and large, the common man, who they’re going to for the money, does not.  It’s an exploitation of the system that reeks of passing of the buck on the grandest scale…and for all intents and purposes, it just reeks.  If the movie fell short of funding, let it die.  Or maybe, approach other possible investors that have the money and do this sort of investing normally…how’s that for an idea?  E-begging like this just REEKS…this is a sad, exploitative misuse of a system that actually does help people in need; multimillionaires do not HAVE the need.  :/

So…I wrote all of this just to get your opinions.  Should people who, by and large, already have the money they’re asking for from fans be able to use Kickstarter?  Or should the funding platform be only allowed by people IN NEED to use?  Do you think that Stallone, Lee and other big-name stars who use the platform (Did I read that Google page right?  Did the people who made the “Veronica Mars” movie REALLY get $5 million?!) are wrong to do so?  Is the exploitation of Kickstarter by the wealthy…or do even the wealthy have needs that KS can solve?

Use the comment box, my friends…let me know your thoughts.  🙂

EDIT:  Oh…dear…LORD.  :/  I did this as sarcasm, but went to do a search on Google of “Kickstarter Bondage” to see if, by chance, my blog post came up in the listings.  Oh, holy Hell…there’s already a platform for kinky people to fund kinky projects!  http://www.gogofantasy.com/    Mind…BLOWN!  Should I take one out?  😛  Reading more…

I feel like some Fallout 3.  🙂

Next week sometime, I’ll be seeing Autumn Shaylee and Dave Annis and we’re gonna rock some good times and do a small shoot.  🙂  Nothing extravagant,  I don’t expect to shoot more than 100 pics, really…but it’ll be fun nonetheless.  🙂  As for now?  How about some Sasha Fae?  🙂

That’s…kinda nom.  🙂  Having bacon for b’fast; haven’t in a while.  Don’t worry…bought this as a treat; I don’t intend to make it a habit…greasy as fuck!  🙁

All things willing and going to plan, I should be meeting with Autumn Shaylee before the week’s out…I now have heels that’ll fit her, and I’m gonna try her out in a few outfits, including a certain red skirt…;)  Should be interesting overall.  Here she is in our first get together…

The build goes well…I’m applying the Aztec decals on the bottom of the saucer now.  Kinda disappointed at the lack of detail…they barely show up.  🙁  Well, we’ll see if that gets better as I add more.  🙂  As for you all…how about a touch of Stacie Snow to start your Monday out?

One last pic of the ship and I move on…

DSC01079

Yes, that’s my foot at the very bottom of the pic…whatever.  😛  Like I said last time, the parts have a “release agent” on them when they leave the factory…it’s how they get the parts free from the mold.  That had to be washed off before priming (warm water bath with Dawn dish washing liquid); this is the parts drying after that.  Note that the assembly covers my whole coffee table, outside of the paints, glue and such at the front.  If you’re looking it over, thinking, “Hey, Tolstoy; the Enterprise doesn’t have two necks and four nacelles” and such, remember that this is all the parts…everything comes in halves.  😉  Heck, the secondary hull is in 4 pieces, really.  I DO have two different bottoms to the ship…one is the original version and the other is for the “refit” version; I’ll have that spare once the kit is finished some months down the line.

Couple of quick measurements and I’ll move back to bondage…the saucer is 16 inches round; the individual nacelles are 17 inches long; crazy, no?  🙂  The ship I last built is at the front to give some idea of scale.  🙂

OK, so for some bondage…how about some Autumn Shaylee?  Gonna call her tomorrow and see what she’s up to…:)

I’ve been paying attention to my “needs” versus my “wants” WAY too closely of late, so today, I decided to slip a “Want” in for good measure.  🙂  All right…here’s a snap of the Enterprise kit I assembled and detailed not too long ago…

DSC01073

Now, have a look at what I bought today…

DSC01074

That kit in the background has been on my “want list” for a GREAT deal of time, and I finally was able to snag it.  🙂  If you’re wondering, the kit will finish out at 35 inches long from the front of the saucer to the back tip of the Nacelle…yes, that’s an inch less than a YARD long!  🙂  To say I’m excited would be an understatement; let me finish out the post with a few more shots comparing the sizes of these ships; I pulled the saucer out of the box to take these.  It’s gonna take me a LONG time to assemble this…heck, right now, I have to get all the parts out of the box and wash off all the factory nonsense left on the pieces before priming them for paint; that’s a “let them sit and dry overnight” process in and of itself!  🙂  Anyway…here’s some more shots; hopefully, this one turns out as good if not better than the first one I did.  🙂

Definitely a trip to the model (plastic ships) store in the offing for today.  Been saving up some cash for a special project, and today’s the day I go and get it.  🙂   I’m a touch excited; this is gonna be GREAT!!  Talking about great, have a look at Pantera.  She came over to take some shorthand for me and that sexy outfit of hers just got her bound and gagged…
