I forgot to tell you all something stoopid that happened to me while at FetCon…
…I got thrown in Jail!!!
Well, no…I didn’t go into international waters and do anything stoopid, nor did I go to any red-light districts. This jail was comfy…and I was there for probably less than an hour, if I acted as quickly as I think I did…we’re talking about TWITTER-Jail here! 😛
We of the adult-content world get bounced in and out of websites like a red-headed step-child on the daily (Instagram is the absolute worst!)…but while I was packing to go home, I checked e-mail on my phone to see if anything interesting was going on, only to find one stating that I was suspended on Twitter and my account was locked. Now, any savvy person on the Internet these days is thinking the same thing right now…”It’s a spam e-mail; follow none of the links in it!” and to my credit, I didn’t…but I did go directly to the source and found that, indeed, my Twitter account was locked.
To Twitter’s credit, at least this time they told me why. The first time they locked me out, I had to go over the site’s Terms Of Service myself to see what they were up-in-arms about (I had a bondage shot as my account header…an admitted no-no on my part). Nope…they told me why…and here it is: the picture that closed me out of Twitter:
This is baffling to me. Sasha is covered here…granted, her HANDS are doing the covering, but she IS covered. And the rope is AROUND her, not ON her. I feel like I could have won an appeal on this, but since the “Bird-App” is practically my entire advertising platform (outside of here, which doesn’t even have a tenth of the reach), I just rolled my eyes, gave it a “F-IIIIIIIIIII-NE.” and deleted it. Funny thing is, that pic has been at the top of my Twitter page for literal YEARS, possibly an entire (no exaggeration) decade (I’ve been on Twitter for 14 years, my longest-running social app)…I changed it to that early on in my Twitter career after I made the stoopid mistake of posting a bondage shot there…I didn’t want to pick a fight I was 100% sure I could win and lose Twitter in the process. Besides, even tho Twitter is a toxic cesspool, it’s MY toxic cesspool, dammit. 😛 I absolutely LOVE Twitter…and if it’s overlords see pretty Sasha as an eyesore for some reason, whatever.
So I uploaded a DIFFERENT Sasha pic of me taking her picture as the header. Suck on that, toxic cesspool! 🙂
