  1. Yeah, I feel your pain.
This is exactly why I became a “console guy.”
Sure, games are more expensive, you can’t use mods, resolution isn’t as good and you do have occasional fps issues but the plus side is you never have to worry about meeting specs, updating graphics drivers or compatibility issues.

    • I hear ya…and it IS a pain. Take for example, I’m just back from exchanging the graphics card…and they didn’t have the one I needed in store, so I’m gonna have to wait for the order to come in…for a week. MASSIVE frowny-face on Tolstoy, but the good thing is, when it comes in, I’m set for GOOD. I’m told that I’ll be able to run the game at the “Ultra” graphics setting, which was an “OMG” for me as I’ve never been able to do that before, so I’m considering the wait worth it. Also, I’ll be able to mod the game…which is where my fanaticism really lies.

I’m a console gamer at heart (I use a 360 pad on my PC…and I even bought a game for my PS3 while I was there), but the ability to tinker with the game and shape it in my image…whoa. I love it…and am willing to wait for it. 🙂

  2. I must admit, I do get a little jealous of PC gamers when I see HD texture packs for games like Skyrim.
Thing is, you need a liquid nitrogen cooled quantum processor to run that shit properly…
